Last episode we spoke with Awete Tyehimba, owner of Pan African Connection, about reconnecting with our roots...the inspiration behind the reconnecting. One question we asked was where do we begin. It can be quite an overwhelming and daunting task. We’ll be talking about the process of researching your roots with our guest momologist, Bernetta Knighten of BernettaStyle.

Bold Believers United is hosting its fourth annual, C4: Christian, Character, College & Career Summer Camp. Traditionally, C4 is held at Southern Methodist University, but in effort to keep everyone safe from COVID-19, C4 will be completely online. We would love for any 13-17yr olds (7-12 graders) to join us this summer!

Their registration deadline is July 8th.

The C4 camp provides middle and high school students exposure and preparation for college, various career pathways and diverse industry experts who lead workshops, provide mentoring and share expertise throughout the camp. Additionally, students participate in various activities and workshops centered on strengthening their Christian faith, self-esteem, confidence and peer relationships.
